As President and CEO of Prevail Sales Strategies, LLC and subsidiary, Prevail Technologies, Mr. Taton brings over 20 years of working experience in the information technology service provider industry.  Mr. Taton's IT career began as an application development engineer, developing application software in conjunction with computer platforms for IBM, Tandem Non-Stop, and Stratus-88. 

From there Ed transitioned from application development to working in the technical sales, marketing, and business development arena for Great Lakes regional and international consulting companies.  Just prior to Prevail, Ed was Co-Founder and Vice President of Business Development for IntelliNet Corp. IntelliNet continues its success today, as well as a Prevail client, and is one of the oldest Managed Service Providers-(MSP) in the U.S., being established in 1997. 

Prior to IntelliNet, Mr. Taton was a regional sales executive for Cabletron Systems delivering market expansion for Cabletron's network management and enterprise network backbone systems to small, medium, and Fortune accounts in the Great Lakes region.

Mr. Taton's diverse background and hands on experience across man disciplines of technology sales, marketing, and account management facilitates a unique understanding of the highly competitive nature of the IT services industry.  This experience forms the foundation for delivering rapid and profitable market growth across a broad range of organizational environments; from initial start-ups, small to medium IT organizations, and large established IT organizations-(branch/geographic market expansion).

Ed was awarded the 2003 Distinguished Sales and Marketing Executive from a field of hundreds of nominees; featured speaker for NetWorld/Interop, itSMF Forum, Compuware Corporation Partner Summit, and the Outsourcing Council Series for Fortune 1000 CIO Symposiums focused on enterprise network systems and services for 24X7 availability, performance, and security. 

Mr. Taton is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, US Army Reserve Veteran, and has obtained numerous technical and business management continuing education certifications.
